180°
The projector arm of the Projection Alarm Clock swivels through 180°. It throws the time on a wall or ceiling from 1.64 to 11.4 feet away.

3 + off
Three brightness levels and off. The screen and the projection are set apart, so the screen can go dark while the ceiling keeps the time.

5 + off

Whose nightstand

Lie still and look up. The Projection Alarm Clock keeps the time on the ceiling, so there is no reaching for a phone. The alarm starts soft and gets louder and faster, up to 75 dB.

The Curved Digital Alarm Clock is about five inches wide. It wakes with birdsong, a beep or a chord, at two volumes. Night mode keeps the screen dim until morning.

The 7-Inch Talking Day Clock spells out the day, the part of the day, the time and the date on a 7-inch screen. Press a button and it says the time aloud.

Simple, not fancy, little clock. Perfect for a guest room.
Simple, not fancy, little clock. Super easy set-up and you can adjust the brightness of the projection which is great. It fits easily on a small nightstand and with the projection, it doesn't have to be out in front taking up space. It has a bright face so you can see the time on it if your room is too light to see the projected time. We have another projection clock and you can't see the time during the day at all. At this point, I consider it a really good value for the price.

For anyone that forgets what day it is.
I got this for my 81 year old aunt who forgets what day it is. She LOVES this! She gushes over this clock all the time. This makes me SO happy! I'm going to be buying one for me now as well. :)

Projection is far too bright, even on dimmest setting.
Pros: Looks great. Sharp display (both on the clock face and the projection). Easy to set-up, navigate, etc. Con: Unfortunately, the only con is the primary reason I bought this (and am now returning it). The projection is way too bright if you like a decently dark room when sleeping. I don't need pitch black, but I need it reasonably dark. Upon set up, I thought.. ok, I must have it on the highest/brightest setting. Let me adjust it down. That's when I figured out it was already on it's dimmest setting. Just too bright. For fun, I opened a book that I had on my nightstand and could read it due to how bright the projection was. Too bad.. otherwise I like everything about it.. just way too bright. To be clear, there was no other ambient light in the room (no night light, blinds closed an curtains drawn).

DIM DISPLAY
Biggest negative - poor viditility; brightness adjustment peaks below daylight viewable. On highest level, it's barely bright enouth at night. Display is plenty big enough to see anywhere in a normal size bedroom. Sleek modern appearance.

Other ways
The Projection Alarm Clock against 3 other ways to wake up, and when each one is the better choice.
| Compared | GOLOZA projection clock | Phone alarm | Analog alarm clock | Sunrise alarm clock |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Time visible all night | Yes, on the screen and on the ceiling | Only when you wake the phone | Yes, if the dial glows | Yes, on its screen |
| Light in the room | LED digits, 3 levels and off | A bright screen when you check it | None, or a small dial light | A lamp that brightens before the alarm |
| Wake-up sound | Buzzer that rises in volume, 75 dB | Any sound you choose | Bell or beep | Sounds plus light |
| Works in a power cut | No. The battery only keeps the settings | Yes, on its own battery | Yes, on batteries | No, in most cases |
| Better choice when | You want the time in view without touching anything | You travel, or you change your wake time every day | You want no light and no cord at all | You want light, not sound, to wake you |
The brand
GOLOZA is a clock brand. Its shop page carries alarm clocks for the nightstand and calendar clocks for the living room wall, and nothing else. The US trademark covers alarm clocks and has been on the register since June 2021.
Every model keeps the same manners. The digits are large. The buttons sit on top, where a hand finds them in the dark. The cord comes with its adapter. None of them needs an app, an account or a phone to tell the time.
The range on sale is short: four products in 8 versions. Most of the versions are the same clock with different digit colors. The GOLOZA range works that way: one body, one set of buttons, and a choice of red, blue, green or white numbers. You pick the color you can live with at night, and the price changes by a dollar or two.

The best known GOLOZA clock is the Projection Alarm Clock. 14,753 buyers have rated it, and the average is 4.5 out of 5.
The Projection Alarm Clock is a curved LED clock with a small projector on an arm. The arm swivels through 180°, and the time lands on the wall or the ceiling.
The idea behind it is simple. At night you want the time, and you do not want to sit up for it. A phone has to be picked up and lights your face when you do. A projection clock puts dim numbers where your eyes already are.
Dimming is built into every clock in the GOLOZA line. The projection clock has three levels and off, with the screen and the projection set apart. The curved bedside clock has five levels and off, plus a night mode on a schedule. The day clock has ten levels and dims itself in the evening.

Which one to pick comes down to the question you ask at night. What time is it? Take a clock with digits you can dim. What day is it? Take the calendar clock. Will I hear it? Take the one whose alarm suits how you sleep.
The second line is the Curved Digital Alarm Clock, model TCA-245. It is smaller, about five inches wide, and has no projector. What it adds is choice at wake-up time: three alarm tones and two volume levels, from 75 to 85 dB.
The third is the 7-Inch Talking Day Clock. It is a calendar clock: the screen spells out the day of the week and the part of the day in words, next to the time and the date. It speaks the time at a button press and can chime on the hour. Families buy it for older relatives, and the brand counts reminders as its main job: alarms, three medicine reminders, birthdays and holidays.
All three are corded. A battery inside keeps the time and the alarm settings through a power cut, but the screen stays dark until the power is back. Buyers repeat it in their reviews. If you need an alarm that sounds during an outage, a GOLOZA clock is the wrong pick.
Buyers also name the weak spots. Some find the projection too bright even on its lowest level. Some find the small curved clock too dim by day. One buyer could not get through the day clock’s setup.
The GOLOZA range is sold online. Orders, payment, delivery and returns go through our retail partner. Every clock arrives with its power adapter in the box, so it can go on the nightstand the same evening.
